What else is happening?
To encourage more spectators we would like to have stalls of produce or gifts so if you have anything you want to sell: homemade jams or chutney; vegetables, meat products, jewellery, skins, woollen items, sweets.
Sale of livestock ? if there is enough interest it would be the ideal opportunity to sell livestock, they can be penned up separately and viewed while the judging is on and then sold after.
There will be hot food and refreshments throughout the day keeping everyone fed and watered. After the prize giving we are hoping to organise some games and races for the children perhaps a treasure hunt throw the welly and things for the adults as well. It is hoped to keep everyone busy until the early evening when Falklands Conservation are holding their Campers Bash in the Fitzroy Club.
Farmers please let me know as soon as possible your entry numbers for each category, whether you have livestock for sale or would like a table for the sale of produce. The more the merrier and remember you can win if you are not in. Don't miss out on an excellent day out and a great social event. It is the ideal opportunity to show of you best breeding stock, your AI and ET results and sell off what you don't want. Any queries please contact the Secretary on phone/fax 22660 or email secretary@rba.org.fk or home phone on 22131.
Look out for posters and other advertising including the Campers Bash closer the time. But put the date in your diary now 3rd April 2004.
